I had this crazy long, amazing post about revenge shopping, but it disappeared, so here's the short version. I bought some pants at a super cute boutique called Mulberry Cottage in Nashville, IN. They were super cute pants. Very Laura Petrie. But they instantly developed holes at the belt loops. I called and told them and asked to exchange them only to be told, as though I were an idiot, that I shouldn't have used the belt loops to pull them up. Like duh, they're knit jeggings. Duh you can't use the belt loops. So I went revenge shopping here in Bloomington. I was determined to find the perfect replacements. Fast forward through Old Navy where even the tightest pants fit like this:
Fast forward through Maurices and Target who each had close calls. Enter American Eagle Outfitters, where I should have known I'd find the perfect pants. And I did. So there's my revenge. I spent $70 to get even over a $30 loss. Makes sense, right? And here it is, my FPotD:
The jacket is H&M and I never wear it. I'm going to change that. The shirt is TJ Maxx. The pants are American Eagle, obviously. And the shoes, though you've seen them, are Ecco. This photo was taken in my closet, thus the shoes everywhere. I'll have to clean it up sometime and take a photo because it's a pretty amazing closet. And then you can see all of mine and Oscar's clothing and shoes.
